The Author

Born in the small Island of S.Tome & Principe and raised in the southern Portuguese coast areas of Caparica, Setubal district.

My journey has started many years ago, many lessons learned, many failures along the way, however past experiences provide great enough baggage to certify my passionate delivery on the subject.

From early days have always believed that an individual should continuously strive for perfection, although not soon enough have I realised that this would be impossible to achieve as you can and should continuously move the target and go the extra mile, you can always improve further and this applies at home or work, regardless of you work trade or structural position.

Through passionate dedication and commitment you can always become a better version of yourself.

Have constantly and enthusiastically searched for good examples of leadership and can now confirm it is not an easy task, however they do exist.

Have witnessed great leaders but also very poor or weak ones at work and have learned from both, after all learning what not to do is still learning.

What has been the driving force behind this project? The fact I have over the years managed to understand the minds and attributes within weak Leaders.

They are filled with self-centred thoughts perfected by lack of basics in leadership, they lack cohesiveness although some display high levels of coerciveness and exhibit clear authority by force.

When writing this guide had the hope that some will eventually open their minds and engage with the new days, new ways, and consequently evolve towards a better and more effective working relationships with those they are meant to lead and serve.
